Seek God & Study His Word

Seek God in the heart of Brisbane City. We put knowing God first. Your heart ignited through intimacy with Jesus is the best way to study God's Word.

Holy Fire Ministry Training School is an evening Bible School designed for working and busy people who want to grow in knowing God and His Word. The Father called us to begin in 2003 with the conviction that his Word and Spirit work together to authentically equip us for ministry. Since our inception, Jesus has led us on an amazing journey through the Bible and his living presence has been changing our lives. Our students are now leaders and pastors throughout Brisbane and beyond. And God's work continues to grow and increase.  This is no ordinary Bible School. We don't just study Scripture, but experience and live it out.

The Book of Revelation:

The King is Coming

There is no other book of the Bible filled with more mystery and majesty than the Book of Revelation. It begins with a vision of Jesus Christ and ends with a vision of the new heavens and the new earth. In this subject, we will look at Revelation in a fresh and living way. Our emphasis will be on what this book reveals about who God is and how he wants us to live. Our goal is not to figure out all the mysteries, but to know God's heart more––that's actually the greatest mystery: the Lord himself. Be prepared for your life to be forever changed as we journey through this apocalyptic vision. In the final chapter Jesus says, "Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Rev. 22:12-13, NIV).

The Kingdom Revolution:

The King Changes Everything

Not only is the Kingdom coming, but the Kingdom is already breaking into the world now. Jesus was constantly talking about the Kingdom and explaining its mysteries. In this subject, we will explore what the Kingdom is and how God's Kingdom works. Special emphasis will be put on the revolutionary nature of the Kingdom and how we are called to be Kingdom revolutionaries. Where ever the King is, there is the Kingdom. And wherever the Kingdom is, everything changes. Jesus described the Kingdom when he said, "The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when its full grown, it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches" (Matt. 13:31-32, NASB).

Redeem the Time:

Living in Light of the King's Coming

How can you practically live everyday in the light of the King's coming? In this subject, we will study how you can properly manage your time for maximum impact in God's Kingdom. Life's busyness and stresses often get us distracted. You will be given tools to help you focus, and use your time and finances in a God-honouring way. Time is a mystery in itself. But one thing we know: once it passes, you will never get it back again. John Wesley wrote: "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can." In the same way the Scripture says, "See then that you walk circumspectly [carefully], not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil" (Eph. 5:15-16, NKJV).
